This course goes into detail on a wide range of mental health conditions and the support and help provided by health care professionals. It covers level 1 and level 2 qualifications but is aimed at trainer/assessors and /or supervisors in the workplace.
How long is the course?
The course is 12 contact hours
What is the maximum number of learners allowed on a course?
For quality of training we say a maximum of 12 learners.
How is the course assessed?
At the end of day 1 there is a 30 minute, 12 question written assessment paper. The pass mark is 16 out of a possible 21 marks. At the end of day 2 there is a 30 minute, 11 question written assessment paper.
The pass mark is 24 out of a possible 33 marks
How long is the qualification valid for?
There is no validity of the certificate but keeping up to date with changes to policies, procedures and new legislation through ongoing CPD is essential.
