This course provides the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost the person to professional help.
How long is the course?
The course is 4 contact hours
What is the maximum number of learners allowed on a course?
For quality of training we say a maximum of 12 learners.
How is the course assessed?
There is a 30 minute, 10 question written assessment paper.
The pass mark is 13 out of a possible 18 marks.
Successful learners can then progress to FAA awards level 2 or 3.
How long is the qualification valid for?
There is no validity of the certificate but keeping up to date with changes to policies, procedures and new legislation through ongoing CPD is essential.
